Founded in 2020 by Todi Garay, Crisp Waffle Company embraces a passion for authentic Liege waffles, made with imported ingredients from Belgium. Unlike traditional waffles, Liege waffles are crafted with a unique dough-like batter mixed with pearl sugar that caramelizes during cooking, giving each bite a distinguished flavor and texture.
The St. Pete location will feature the same beloved menu as the Sarasota flagship, complete with sweet and savory creations. Guests can look forward to offerings like the “All About Berries,” topped with fresh fruit, whipped cream, and Belgian chocolate or caramel, and the indulgent “Monte Cristo on the Beach,” a waffle sandwich layered with turkey, ham, melted cheese, and berry jam. Customers can also enjoy old-fashioned ice cream, milkshakes, fruit smoothies, and specialty coffee drinks, like the Sea Salt Caramel Latte and the Belgian Speculoos Latte.
